ATELIER KRÉA · YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy & personal data
What happens to your information when you prepare a quote request or contact the atelier.
Who can you contact?
For questions about your information or to exercise your rights, use the contact link to email the atelier.
The data controller’s legal identification still needs to be completed in the legal notice.
Your quote request
The form prepares an email in your email app. You can review it, attach your photos and send it yourself. Information entered in the form is neither sent to the atelier nor stored on this showcase website’s server.
You choose what to share: the item, wording or name to personalise, the occasion and your project details. Quantity, destination town and country, and your preferred date help us prepare your quote.
For an initial enquiry, share only the information relevant to your project. Full shipping details will be confirmed when you order.
What is this information used for?
Our exchanges are used to answer your enquiry, assess what is possible, prepare your quote and, if you order, make and ship your creation. These uses are based on the steps you request before entering a contract, followed by performance of the order.
Information required for invoicing is also processed to meet the business’s applicable legal obligations.
A quote request does not subscribe you to a newsletter on this showcase website. No marketing subscription feature is offered here.
Your photos and personalisation details
Photos are attached directly to your email in your email app. This showcase website does not offer file uploads.
The photos, wording and names you send are used to assess and create the agreed personalisation. Any use of your photos to showcase a creation requires separate permission.
Email, payment and delivery
Enquiries sent to the atelier arrive in its Gmail inbox. Those handling your enquiry access the information needed to answer it.
Card payments are planned through a Stripe-hosted page. PayPal can be agreed by email. Payment details are entered with the payment provider; this showcase website has no card payment form.
For shipping, the details needed for delivery are shared with the carrier selected for the order.
The provider entities, processing locations and safeguards for any transfers outside the European Economic Area still need to be specified.
How long is information retained?
Retention periods must be defined for each purpose: handling an enquiry, preparing and following up an order, then meeting legal obligations or handling a complaint.
Specific retention periods for quotes that do not lead to an order, correspondence and personalisation photos still need to be set. No photo retention period is presented here as an existing operational rule.
Accounting records and invoicing documents subject to the statutory retention obligation are retained for ten years.
Browsing and external services
The showcase website has no advertising pixel, audience analytics tool or embedded social media widget. The Instagram, Facebook and TikTok icons link to those platforms.
The showcase website’s code does not save your enquiry in browser storage or create tracking cookies. This does not mean that hosting and access control services process no technical data.
The inventory of technical data, any hosting-related trackers and their retention periods still needs to be confirmed. After you follow an external link, that service’s own rules apply.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your information, or restriction of its use. The rights to object and to data portability apply where their conditions are met.
To exercise these rights, use the contact link and explain your request. Statutory retention requirements may limit the deletion of certain information.
You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
Information updated on 25 October 2026.
